Overview

GYAO! is a Tamagotchi-like minigame that is accessible from the Minigames app on Dave's phone. It is unlocked after completing the side mission "Stormy Night." To complete the GYAO! Master achievement, you need to raise 5 fully evolved GYAOs. ==Evolution

Snack - Increases GYAO!'s Affection level by 1. *Lighting – Turn the light on or off. Leaving the light on during the day and turning it off in the evening will reduce the chance of your GYAO! becoming sick and needing discipline. Turning the light off during the day and leaving it on in the evening will increase the chance of your GYAO! becoming sick and needing Discipline. * Play – Play with GYAO! to increase its Affection level by 2. A shell game is available in which three shells will move, and you must find the pearl hidden under one of them. Also a game where you must point in the direction your GYAO! is facing. You will have up to 3 tries to score 2 points, thus you can fail 1 time. The game is chosen at random. * Heal – Press the medicine button when a purple skull is visible. Healing your GYAO! when it's healthy will lower its Affection by 1. This is useful for when its Affection is too high for a specific evolution and you need to reduce it. *Clean – Press the clean button if your fish’s environment is dirty with excrement on the sides. Unlike other options, this can be done even if your GYAO! is asleep. * Warning – If your GYAO! has a problem, this tab will light up. Also sends a notification to Dave's phone. *Discipline – Increases Training level when the "Warning" indicator is on but your GYAO! is happy, healthy, clean and well fed. Turning lights off during daytime and lights on during nighttime can increase discipline opportunities. Training can decrease if GYAO! can be disciplined but you choose not to. *Manage – Visualize your progress, as well as the age and current weight of your GYAO! *Memories – See a list of all your previous GYAO!s. You can favorite up to 50 GYAO!s, indicated by a yellow star. Favorites will appear at the beginning of the list and return to their original position when unfavorited. *Options – Opens a submenu with the following two options: Notifications - Turn phone notifications on or off. This will give you a break when you don’t want to play the mini-game. Rebirth - Turn your GYAO! back into an egg without having to wait for it to die first. * Rebirth - After your GYAO! dies, you will have an option to Rebirth it. This will turn your GYAO! back into an egg, allowing you to raise it from scratch again. If GYAO!'s Hunger level stays at 0 for a day or two, or if you don't Heal or Clean, it will die. GYAO!s will also die naturally after 10-20 GYAO! yr(s) (aka 10-20 in-game days).
