After Ichiban Kasuga's help during Operation Sea Blue Eradication, after your next normal restaurant night, he and the Bartender will show up, this time while food is still being served. While the Bartender finds the food acceptable, he'll remark on how he'd really want cold noodles but doubts a sushi bar would make such. Bancho will take this personally and tells him to come back in three days and he'll serve him some cold noodles that'll go beyond his expectations. Bancho will then request Dave to gather him the needed ingredients: Stingray Meat, an egg, and a new ingredient, buckwheat. For the last one, you'll need to go see Otto as part of the really small sub mission, Buckwheat required. Once all ingredients are gathered, wait until it's the challenge day. After the normal night service, Ichiban and the Bartender will show up, ready for the challenge.
