A spot-by-spot guide for common and rare seahorses. Common species (Pacific, Jayakar, Humpback, Pygmy) are easy; rarer ones spawn in specific zones.
- Tiger-tail Seahorse: spawns inside the Wreck; also seen at Stalactite Cave and Wreck entrance.
- Upright Seahorse: Blue Hole deep waters, around 130m+.
- Bring a net gun or tranquilizer for non-lethal capture to preserve card quality.
Common seahorses
Pacific, Jayakar, Humpback, and Pygmy seahorses appear across multiple zones and rarely need targeted hunting. Capture them opportunistically while doing other objectives.
- Pacific Seahorse: shallow zones
- Jayakar: mid-zone coral
- Pygmy: small coral hideouts
Rare seahorses
Tiger-tail Seahorse is best hunted inside the Wreck near the Sailfin Blenny. Upright Seahorse only spawns in deep Blue Hole, so bring enough oxygen.
