A condensed first-week route: follow the story to unlock systems, upgrade carrying capacity and oxygen early, and use each dive to bring back either money or unlock progress.
- Follow main quests first because staff, farming, fish farms, weapon upgrades, and deeper areas are gated by progression.
- Prioritize cargo box and oxygen upgrades before luxury upgrades; surface before oxygen becomes a gamble.
- Open underwater weapon crates and remember creatures that need later tools such as gloves or nets.
First priority: unlock systems, not perfect every dive
The early game becomes much easier once the restaurant, staff, farm, fish farm, weapon upgrade, and deeper-area systems open. Treat the first chapter as a route to unlock tools, then return to older zones with better gear.
- Push main quests whenever the next objective is available.
- Do not overstay for low-value fish when oxygen is already tight.
- Make notes of blocked creatures or harvest points for later tools.
Upgrade order
Cargo and oxygen upgrades create the most consistent returns because they increase both safety and the amount of sellable fish you can bring back.
