Nolan Crawford

Biography

It's unclear how Nolan got into the food industry, but at one point he'd already made a name for himself as a chef and ran his own restaurant in New York. At one point during this time, he hired on a young Vincent as an apprentice chef. When he saw the poor apprentice struggling with flipping omelets, instead of scolding or firing him, Nolan approached and taught Vincent how to do it correctly. He went on to teach Vincent a lot during his time there, taking on the role as Vincent's sensei. Nolan later founded the B&C Company, a restaurant franchise, and ran it well enough it became famous around the world and was even sponsoring food shows, like Challenge the Chef, a show that a much older Vincent, now a sushi expert, was the judge on. Nolan also taught his daughter, Lois, how to run and operate a franchise, with the idea that one day she'd inherit the family company.
