Overview
Cobra is one of the main supporting characters in Dave the Diver.
Role in Gameplay
Cobra calling Dave in the intro cutscene. Cobra is introduced at the very beginning of the game, when he calls up Dave with the promise of sushi. On arrival, he reveals his full plan to Dave: if Dave uses his scuba diving skills to gather fish from the Blue Hole, they can then make money via Bancho Sushi, a restaurant Cobra had built that's run by Bancho, a chef and Cobra's good friend. Cobra acts as the main way of learning the game's mechanics early on. Later, his shop is unlocked, where he sells three random items (some unique to his shop) a day and will buy most non-Fish items off Dave. Throughout the game, it is shown that Cobra is always looking for a way to make money and that he has no issue using questionable methods to achieve these goals. As a part of his ongoing money-making schemes, he has made several deals with characters including Doctor Bacon, Duff and Udo to hire out Dave's services as a diver, having already signed working contracts without Dave's permission or knowledge.

* Cobra first appeared on EVIL FACTORY, a mobile game from Nexon whose demo is available as an unlockable minigame on Dave the Diver. * Cobra makes an appearance in Balatro as a Jack of Diamonds face card, as part of that game's Friends of Jimbo update.
